CHHS THEATRE BOOSTERS MINUTES

October 2, 2007

            President Kent Meier called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm.             

            Bonnie Keenan moved to approve the minutes; Tammy Mayfield seconded.             

            The Treasurer’s Report and Budget for 2007-2008 was filed for audit.

            Mrs. Koepf and Ms. Martin went over October events and dates.

Action Taken:

A ticket sales system was discussed. A motion was made and seconded by Kay Lester and Cecilia Monacelli respectively, for Tammy Mayfield to investigate and establish Pay Pal as a means to purchase Tickets online via the Theatre Boosters website (chhspanthertheater.org.)

Shiryl Gillaspie volunteered to be the House Manager for The Crucible.

Cecilia Monacelli volunteered to be the parent supervisor for Box Office tickets sales prior to the performances.

A volunteer is needed to coordinate costumes from Dusty’s in Arlington. 

Sharilyn Clay volunteered to help with concessions at the Horror Movie Night after the Crucible performance on Oct 27^th.

Laura Dearing worked with Kim Husky, caterer, for Starving Artists meals.

Homecoming Parade is 7:30 p.

Caitlin Taylor, Interp & ITS President, reported that ITS will have an October 21^st Halloween Costume Party at Colleen Casey’s. Also, Nov 8^th is Theatre Night @ Red Brick Pizza (in Town Center between McAlister’s and Costa Vida) 10% of proceeds will be donated to ITS. Interp: The Hocakady School is the next tournament for the Interp team. There is an Oral Interpretation Showcase on October 6^th in the Black Box. We now have 5 TFA Qualifiers.

Susan Taylor asked that any parents of Seniors please email her a baby picture of their student for the Senior Dedication page in the Crucible Playbill. Also, ads are due!

Kent reiterated that Booster Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month. Next Booster Meeting is November 6^th.

Kim Sutter motioned to adjourn, Elizabeth Tessler seconded.
